Following the trial game on Sunday 19th a number of players will be invited to participate in the preseason training schedule set for Sunday mornings.

Preseason training is vitally important and should not be seen as something to try and avoid.

This season Ashton-on-Ribble look likely to have their biggest squad yet so there will be plenty of competition for places.

Last season Tom Darkins proved that hard work in the summer months will result in a much improved season as he went on to win Player of the Season and the Top Goal Scorer award.

Preseason training starts on Sunday 24th June. 10:30am at Haslam Park.

Training will be at this time every Sunday until the season starts or their is a friendly fixture.

Players should bring trainers with them suitable for running on hard ground.
