LATEST FROM THE TREATMENT ROOM

As the fixtures have experienced some disruption due to the weather the injuries in the team have remained.
Here is an update from the Ashton Treatment Room.

Carlos Erbay
Carlos suffered ligament damage to his knee at the end of last season. He made a premature return to action in the first pre season game aggravating the injury and subsequently has missed the start of the 2012/13 campaign. Carlos had hoped to return to training in the coming weeks but sustained a set back whilst on holiday with the knee swelling up for no apparent reason. As with most knee injuries the predicted time for a full recovery is unknown and we wish Carlos all the best in his bid to return to fitness.
Rob Cuff
Rob Cuff is now out of his cast and beginning his rehab after breaking his ankle in the game against BAE Warton. Rob has so far only missed the cup game against Ashton Villa and is aiming for a return to the first team in the new year with the top goal scorers award still within touching distance.
Stuart Hames
Stuart has been struggling with an ankle injury since May and suffered complications with his Achilles tendon in August. A scan in a couple of weeks will hopefully show that the recovery process is well under way. A few sessions of physiotherapy have been booked and he will be aiming for full fitness around the Christmas period.
Ben Walker
Ben continues to suffer with his ginger beard. Specialists say it is something that Ben is going to have to live with for the rest of his career although it isn't likely to have an affect on his ever growing ego.
Jonny Sumner
Jonny's glass ankles have so far made it though the first part of the season. The club medical team have however reserved a spot in the treatment room for him as it is unlikely he'll make it through the season unscathed.
