2012-13 LEAGUE FORMAT

The league will see some significant changes that will take effect from the start of the 2012-13 season.
Firstly the league will now be known as THE LANCASHIRE SUNDAY FOOTBALL LEAGUE.
Starting from the first game of the season clubs will be able to use all 5 subs during a game. The rule had originally been proposed to allow clubs to roll on roll off subs but this was voted against by member clubs and the rule to allow a maximum of 5 subs to be used in game was passed instead.
This should allow more playing time for players in a large squad. However this being said it is a new rule that will take some getting used to by both players, referees and managers and it is certainly up for evaluation.
All cup games will now go straight to penalties following a draw at the end of 90mins.
Division 4 will be made up off the following teams:
1 Ashton on Ribble
2 BAE Warton
3 Burscough
4 Deepdale Dynamos
5 Dolphin FC new member club
6 Fishwick Rangers from youth section
7 Frenchwood
8 Leyland Orient new member club
9 Preston Guild relegated from Div 3
10 St Theresas
11 Warton Typhoons
12 Waverley
AORFC took points off all the teams that remain from last season and should look to improve and even challenge at the top end of the table next season.
